One of our own partners, Damian Kilroe, has been a participant in the Kidney March for three years. The Kidney Foundation is a sponsor of this important day that highlights the critical need for organ donation across the country.
Organ donation plays a crucial role in saving lives and improving the quality of life for those battling kidney disease and kidney failure. With over 70% of people on the organ donor waitlist in need of a kidney, initiatives like Green Shirt Day help shed light on the importance of registering as an organ donor and encouraging others to do the same.
