Naveed Jessani

Naveed Jessani is a partner and senior project manager at Remedy Engineering. His expertise spans a range of market sectors including commercial, institutional, pharmaceutical. He specializes in delivering designs that are harmonious, energy efficient, and easily operated.
With over 16 years of experience in new and renovation projects, such as mechanical plant replacements and upgrades, controls systems upgrades, pharmaceutical labs, and natatoriums, we are excited to have him bring his technical and leadership abilities to make our team even stronger.
In his spare time, Naveed likes to camp, hike and lug his lenses around for wildlife photography.

Brad Strueby

Brad Strueby is a partner and senior project manager at Remedy Engineering. He traces his interest in engineering to his early childhood, when his mom and dad would buy him new toy cars and trucks and he would dismantle them to see how they worked and if he could improve on the design. Over his 39-year career, Brad has applied his logical, systematic approach to design to a variety of project types, with a focus on acute health-care, laboratory and post-secondary educational facilities. He enjoys technically challenging projects, and his hands-on and detail-oriented approach make him a valuable asset to a design team.

Jerett Schaufele

Jerett Schaufele is a partner and senior project manager at Remedy Engineering with more than 21 years of experience providing mechanical engineering consulting services for complex buildings such as hospital, laboratories, and other institutional facilities. Jerett prides himself on his meticulous nature and is constantly looking for opportunities to expand his knowledge base and find ways to improve the quality of his work. Jerett appreciates the value and importance of producing clear and comprehensive project deliverables, both for the benefit of the Construction team, as well as for future reference by his clients. Above all, he believes that frequent and honest communication between all team members is the key factor when it comes to executing successful projects given the ever-increasing project constraints inherent with the construction industry.

Steve Lessoway

Steve Lessoway is a partner and senior project manager at Remedy Engineering. His path to engineering started at an early age with a mechanical aptitude that was developed by disassembling various household items. This aptitude along with a desire to understand how things work led to a strong interest in auto and bicycle mechanics and eventually science and engineering. Steve joined the mechanical engineering industry in 2006, joining his father's business, a great mentor with 40 years experience in the mechanical engineering field. Additional educational pursuits together with his natural mechanical skill set, further developed his critical thinking skills, research and investigative proficiency and writing and communication skills. Steve's relentless pursuit for personal and professional development makes him a valued asset to the Remedy team. Steve contributes to all areas of our business from marketing, project management, engineering design, technical report writing, web development and spear heading social media presence.

Jeff Swart

Jeff Swart is a partner and senior project manager at Remedy Engineering. His lifelong interest in figuring out how things work led him to a career in engineering, where he was able to apply his curiosity and creative problem solving to structures and systems. Since joining the industry in 1986, Jeff has managed a variety of commercial, institutional and public projects. His understanding of mechanical systems and extensive experience consistently lead to strong and innovative solutions, and he still finds problem solving to be the most rewarding part of the job. Jeff values effective communication and creates working relationships founded on confidence, credibility and respect.

Damian Kilroe

Damian Kilroe is a senior project engineer and project manager at Remedy Engineering. According to his father, Damian’s path to engineering began with a Grade 10 science project and a concept his teacher thought was improbable. The determination and positive energy that propelled him to succeed then still drives his work on every project today. With over a decade of experience on a wide range of projects and a focus on teaching and research laboratory buildings within post-secondary institutions, Damian enjoys the challenge of connecting function with innovation and is known for going the extra mile to exceed client expectations and ensure project success.

Shanon Warner

Shanon Warner is a partner and senior project manager at Remedy Engineering. She accidentally ended up in engineering after learning that organic chemistry is terrible. However, she quickly learned that engineering was really where her interests lay, and even had a personality profile describe her as “an engineer’s engineer”. In the 30+ years since the first misstep, Shanon has gained experience in all sectors of engineering, including industrial, commercial, institutional, residential, cultural and hospitality. While her projects have included all different project delivery methods, Shanon is a huge proponent of the more collaborative methods such as design build and IPD, using the opportunities to expand her knowledge by learning from her mechanical trade partners. Shanon is also a Lean Yellow Belt, and is a two-time past president of the Northern Alberta Chapter of ASHRAE.

Matt Rutherford

Matt Rutherford is a partner and senior project manager with Remedy Engineering. He joined Remedy on day one as the company’s first employee and has enjoyed seeing the company grow and evolve into what he calls the “Remedy Family”. Having robust analytical skills, an inquisitive mind, and strengths in science and math, engineering came naturally to him. Growing up, Matt developed a passion for problem solving and innovative design that he still applies to his work daily. He has almost two decades of commercial and institutional experience specializing in senior’s homes, recreational facilities and residential towers for both refurbishments, additions, and new builds. He takes great pride in delivering coordinated, sustainable, and integrated design solutions to clients. Matt is currently a member of ASHRAE and is LEED accredited.

Don Fox is a partner and senior project manager at Remedy Engineering. With over 41 years of experience, Don brings a comprehensive mechanical engineering perspective to his clients. His extensive knowledge spans trades and project management, making him an ideal project leader. Don has expertise in commissioning, contract administration, and facilities management for commercial, institutional, and light industrial projects.

Katelynne Saville

Katelynne Saville is a senior associate and senior project engineer at Remedy Engineering. Driven by a strong curiosity to understand how things work and a desire to solve problems, she decided early on that engineering would be the right path for her. The construction world appealed to her as it was a way to be involved in a project from concept to occupancy, a tangible effect and outcome. With over 15 years of experience and works on a variety of buildings from institutional, recreational, hospitality, and commercial for both renovations and new construction. She thoroughly enjoys working with different groups to see a project come together and deliver the best mechanical solution to meet the needs of the clients and the occupants.

Andrej Simjanov

Andrej is a senior professional engineer with a passion to make buildings better and minimize carbon footprint. He has worked in HVAC contracting, manufacturing, commissioning, energy modelling, and design, helping building owners, architects, and contractors build energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. Andrej enjoys applying his attention to detail and analytical mind to find straightforward solutions to complex mechanical problems and to everyday situations. He currently holds certifications as a Passive House designer and as a high-performance building designer.

Colson Schneider

Colson Schneider is an associate and project manager at Remedy Engineering. He joined the Calgary Office after starting his career off in what is now Remedy's Edmonton office. His love of math, computers and solving problems lead him straight into becoming an Engineer at the U of A. Colson’s project experience spans across many sectors including commercial, recreational, and cultural sectors with a focus on educational facilities. He is often involved in all aspects of the office and has a passion for passing down his knowledge of design and especially Revit.

With nearly a decade of experience, he focuses on executing high-complexity facilities across the healthcare and laboratory sectors, ensuring that strict technical requirements translate into resilient environments that support vital operations. Laura understands the power of collaboration and she thrives working closely with diverse project teams. She enjoys mentoring within Remedy and meeting new connections within industry and is always available to assist clients with their questions. Nevé Henderson

Nevé Henderson has recent experience in energy modeling for residential and commercial office buildings. Her work includes developing energy models for new construction projects to demonstrate compliance with the National Energy Code for Buildings (NECB), the City of Calgary sustainability performance targets, as well as preparing models to support CMHC funding applications. She has also conducted energy audits for existing buildings to identify opportunities for performance improvements. Nevé regularly collaborates with architects to complete detailed thermal bridging calculations, works closely with mechanical teams to accurately represent HVAC systems in energy models, and has a strong understanding of applicable building codes and energy standards.
