HERITAGE PARK – NATURAL RESOURCE CENTER

Calgary, Alberta

The newly completed Natural resource Centre at Heritage Park was developed to showcase new technologies and renewable resources that are being integrated into buildings today. Mechanically this project featured solar thermal technology, a biomass boiler, displacement ventilation, in-slab heating, demand-controlled ventilation, and earth tubes to precool the outdoor air. All this advanced technology is showcased for the visitor’s experience, while visiting the park to get a glimpse into the past.

SIZE: 4,500 sq. ft.
