The new Airdrie Library and Multi-Use Facility is being constructed at 805 Main Street SW on the site of the old fire hall, with an expected opening in 2025. The 73,000 sq ft facility will feature a 53,000 sq ft library, a 20,000 sq ft multi-use community space, an underground parkade with about 100 stalls, and ground-level parking. Key features include an atrium, expanded library collections and programming, and spaces for arts and culture.
