Three separate projects to compliment each other on the Métis Crossing Cultural Centre site in Smoky Lake. The original project was the Gathering Centre, built to provide space for the Métis Annual General Assembly and to host weddings and other events. Next came the Boutique Lodge to provide places for visitors to stay. Currently in construction are the Skywatching Domes, which are small two room cabins with full glass walls and skylights for seeing the Alberta skies.
